Saturday night was salsa night- no, not the spicy tomato sauce variety you eat with tortilla chips, but the stylish latin dance.

Despite having some very simple steps, my body often refused to co-operate, having it’s own ideas of how to do things, but I like to think that as the night wore on my moves got better.

Certainly, it’s a fun occassion and one mainly attended by a mixture of cute Japanese girls and Western English teachers, in more or less equal numbers.

I have to thank Ben K for it all.

There was indeed one of the later, though I think it is a good place for Japanese girls to meet WIJs (winners in Japan) and visa-versa! Probably though, the main thing is the dancing- that\’s the official story, anyway.

You make these salsa classes sound like they\’re the latest method for LBH\’s (Losers back home) \’picking up\’ cute Japanese girls although you did say western teachers so maybe it wasn\’t just charisma men but also their nemesis\’ too in the form of western women.
